Glossybox is a monthly subscription service that sends 4-5 deluxe size or full size beauty and skincare products from leading luxury and upcoming niche brands. The boxes are beautifully packaged which definitely ups the excitement quotient.
Cost
$21/monthly + free shipping. Additional savings with annual subscriptions.
Ships to U.S. and Canada.
What’s included
4-5 deluxed size beauty and skincare products. Each box comes with an information card that lists what’s inside your box for the month as well as their detailed descriptions! This is certainly very helpful for a quick glance.
This month’s information card followed the theme of International Woman’s day as it was just around the corner on March 8th. I like how Glossybox curates boxes based on particular themes around important days and events.
TarteGuard 30 Sunscreen lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 30 (full size) – retails for $32.

TarteGuard SPF 30 Sunscreen
I thought this was a great sunscreen lotion that did not feel too heavy or sticky especially under makeup. It also has a light fragrance to it, but it is not overwhelming at all. However, those sensitive to fragrances in skincare/beauty products might not like it. I actually like some fragrance in my skincare products so I am enjoying using this on a regular basis.
Catrice Cosmetics Absolute Rose Eyeshadow Palette (full size) – retails for $6.99

Absolute Rose Eyeshadow Palettte
The colors in this palette are absolutely gorgeous and I can see myself applying them. However, I felt that they weren’t very pigmented and even to swatch I had to apply it with a pretty heavy hand. Either way for 7 bucks it’s not a bad product to have in your makeup stash.
Emite Makeup Millesis Active Eye Light Corrector in the shade Fair – (trial/deluxe size) – full size retails for $25.00

Emite Makeup Millesis Active Eye Light Corrector
This corrector/concealer matched up to my skin perfectly and did cover nicely. However, it creased quite a bit after some time — which I am sure most concealers end up doing. I have not heard of this brand until now, but I will be checking out other products from this line, as I thought the concealer did a pretty good job in covering the dark circles (which is my main concern area anyways). Also, the concealer has anti-aging properties which is great for especially under the eyes as it is so prone to getting lines.
Figs & Rouge Avance+ Mattifying Emulsion MT + Sheer – trial size. (Full size retails for $30.27 here)

Figs & Rouge Avance+ Mattifying Emulsion
This was a good primer but I have definitely tried better ones such as the smashbox primer which is my absolute favorite. ALso, I did not see much difference in reduction of pores and since I already have pretty dry skin, I tend to stay away from super matte products. In either case, it wasn’t one of my favorites from this month’s box.
Mary Kay Timewise Repair Volu-Firm Set (trial size set). Full size retails for $205.00.

Mary Kay Timewise Repair Set
This 5 piece set includes Lifting Serum, Night Treatment with Retinol, Day Cream SPF 30, Foaming Cleanser and Eye Renewal Cream. It is your complete skincare in a box which is great to try out before you purchase the full size products. I really enjoy using skincare that comes in sets as you get to use the products in conjunction so that you can decide which works best for you or which does not. Definitely excited to try this set out and see how I like it.
Incoco Nail Polish Applique (full size) Retails for $7.99

Incoco Nail Polish Applique
This was my first time using an applique style nailpolish and I absolutely loved the experience. Guaranteed mine looks pretty sloppy, but in my defense, I had a toddler screaming behind me ha! However, the best part was definitely the no drying time which is great for mamas on the go! You just have to peel the nail polish strips, apply and file away the excess based on your nail size and length. It lasts up to 10 days and can be removed with regular nail polish remover. This comes in a set of 16 which was included in this box! I am absolutely thrilled for receiving the full size. Definitely one of my favorites!
Verdict
I liked this month’s box but did not love every item. The favorite this month was the Applique Nail Polish as I really enjoyed the no drying time aspect of it. Another notable mention would be the full size TarteGuard sunscreen as I think it is a great moisturizer with spf. The value of the box counting the 3 full size products alone comes close to $47. And that is still way above the cost of the monthly subscription at $21. Overall, I think it is a great value in terms of the size of the products and the variety that you receive each month.
