What’s inside?

We opted for the Picture books box specifically for my 3 year old as she is a total bookworm! And we are always looking to add to our ever-growing library.

Now right off the bat, I have to say that the packaging was one of the most exciting part about this subscription. We loved how the books came so beautifully wrapped! My 3 year old could not wait to open it up and see what’s inside.

Her face lit up when she saw the books! Like I said, she really loves her books. 🙂 And I am so hoping this love for books stay with her forever!

Let’s see the books in a little more detail.

When Charlie McButton Lost Power by Suzanne Collins

Omygoodness, we loved this one! It was a very well-written book that actually can be enjoyed by both adults and kids.

I also liked that you get the hardcover book rather than a paperback version.

We loved the rhyming at the end of sentences, and I believe that is what made the story so much more humorous and enjoyable. The story also had a great moral towards the end, and as a parent, I am always looking for high quality reads that teach little ones something meaningful.

Lulu’s Party by Kit Chase

Another great picture book that was more in my daughter’s age range (3-5 year olds).

The story was about friendship and entailed problem-solving in a creative and heartwarming way! Apt for a 3 year old who is learning to make friends.

The illustrations in this book were also simply adorable – a visual treat if I must say so!

Verdict

Overall, we were thrilled with the books received! The curation and packaging get a 10 on 10 from this mama! Bookroo subscription picks out the high quality, age appropriate books for busy parents, so that they can spend quality time reading out the books, rather than searching for the books. Also, the gift wrapping really adds a special touch and in my opinion, only adds to the excitement. This would be a perfect gift for the bookworm in your family!
