Let’s see what’s inside this month’s box.
What I love about this beauty subscription is that you get all full size products! So no teeny tiny samples to be seen anywhere. While I love samples too, I do tend to just throw them aside and feel less motivated to try them out compared to when I see full sized products. The packaging is sleek and cute.
You also receive an information card that lists all the products as well as their descriptions and prices. I can see that there is a theme going on in this month’s BoxyCharm. It was all about giving you the best tools to up your contouring game!
After what seems like watching tons of Youtube beauty videos, I was really eager to get into contouring as it is something I have never experimented with. So I was super excited to see this palette and actually can’t wait to start using it! You also receive instructions on how to contour — which are always helpful for a newbie!
You can sculpt, define and illuminate your features with this palette, giving you the perfect contoured look!
The texture is super soft and almost feels like butter, even though it is powder-based.
I actually came across the Artis paddle brushes a while back and was definitely intrigued by the design. This brush is of course based on the same design. Now I know that these type of brushes are usually good for applying liquid foundations, however I am not so sure about applying the cream-based ones.
I am a cream foundation gal and love using my beauty blender for application. But I am sure this will be a perfect companion to the contour and highlight palette. I like how BoxyCharm is providing you all the tools to up your contouring game, rather than including one or the other product.
Ohmygoodness, I am obsessed with all brow related products and couldn’t be happier to see this palette by The BrowGal.
This convertible brow palette acts as a powder when used dry and a pomade when used wet to fill in and apply color and definition to the brows.
I totally love the idea of using it both as a powder and a pomade as powders sometimes do not give enough definition, so using it both ways would for sure give that perfectly made brow look! I got the shade 02. Totally excited about this and can’t wait to use it.
Of course it came paired up with the Brow Brush.
Love that you get the full size brow brush along with the Convertible Brow palette. This is double ended with a spoolie on one end, and an angled brush on the other end. The angled brush side can also be used to apply eyeliner, so that is definitely getting multiple uses – which makes it pretty handy dandy!
Let’s get into the last item from this month’s box.
This highlighter is of course liquid based as the name suggests and can be used for slight shimmer or really adding tons of iridescence.
It would also be perfect for blending in with foundation to give that luminous glow to the face. And that’s the way I’d probably use it. The consistency is liquid enough but not super watery.
You can see it blended here – it really would give that glow from “within” look once blended in properly with the foundation. Definitely excited about using this!
A fantastic selection by BoxyCharm this month! The total cost comes up to a whopping $113 which is ah-ma-zing! What I loved about this month’s box is that the palettes came with their respective brushes which will make application a breeze! The quality of the products seem pretty great too and I really have no complaints this month. A pretty fun beauty box to try if you want full sized products at a great price!
