The packaging is cute and the box comes loaded with full-sized goodies.
The “Get it Girl” information card that lists all the products along with their prices. Something I am always appreciative of. 🙂
Going with the adventurous theme of the month, we got this blue colored eyeliner, however, while I love my eyeliners, I do like them in the colors black and brown mostly. So this is definitely a bit out of my comfort zone, despite that, I have to say this was super pigmented! The vibrant blue actually looked gorgeous. Check out the swatch below.
Highly pigmented and does not budge after drying. I am definitely going to try out other shades from this brand.
I have super tiny lashes that are barely there so I am always looking for that one mascara that will give me that “wow” factor. And I think this one it is. You do have to layer it multiple times to get that full effect, but it certainly adds a lot of length to the lashes along with thickening them without getting clumped up! Totally loved this one, my new favorite, for sure. 🙂
Laritzy Lip Pencil in “Bare” – $18 (full size)
So I am a lip pencils hoarder and can’t get enough of them! I have tried them all from drugstore brands to the high-end brands. This lip pencil by Laritzy turned out to be super creamy without tugging onto the lips. It was also not drying at all as the lip pencil is infused with plant oils and waxes to moisturize and protect the lips. It is also cruelty-free and paraben free! Yay for that!
“Bare” is such a gorgeous nude/mauvey shade and you can just tell that it was very easy to swatch because of the creamy consistency. So glad to have come across this.
Did Hair Jeweled Hair Tie Set – $7.50 (full size)
A super cute and blingy hair tie set that is perfect for summer ponytails and messy buns! And as a forever tired mommy, I live in messy buns so it’s nice to actually have some bling added to my hair ties ;). These were also pretty stretchy and of course looked great on the wrists as well. 🙂
A cute eyeshadow sampler that is good for on the go makeup bag! Having been a fan of Coastal Scents as a brand, I have found their quality to be superior compared to a lot of other brands, but I was not “wow-ed” by this particular palette. However, the colors are gorgeous and pretty suitable for everyday wear. But I felt the color payoff on the lids was not that great especially when applied with a brush.
I just wished they were a bit more pigmented since I really loved the colors. Overall though, it can certainly come in handy for on the go when you do not want to carry a bigger palette.
Overall, I was so happy with this month of Beauty Box 5 box! You really can’t beat the price at $12 a month in terms of a number of full-size products you receive each month! I also felt that the prices listed were pretty accurate. My favorites were the Laritzy lip pencil and the Prestige Cosmetics mascara – both of which I had not tried before and glad to have found out about! If you are like me and obsessed with trying new beauty products, you wouldn’t want to miss out on BB5’s monthly subscription. Because you really get the bang for your buck!
