Let’s see what’s inside the Little Passports Early Explorers this month!
The theme this month focused on oceans! The familiar letter from Max and Mia explaining about the Earth’s oceans.
Everything in our Little Passports box this month!
Passport to the World’s Oceans booklet
Can’t say enough good things about this booklet. As always it is filled with tons of learning activities that are perfect for preschoolers and just reinforce concepts in a fun way with lots of pictures and colors.
Matching games and tracing to help with gross motor skills.
My daughter jumped right into her booklet and we started off with this fun matching activity.
I was so happy to see a page dedicated to tracing alphabets! It is something we are working on currently to get her ready for school, so it came at just the perfect time!
Flashlight Adventures Activity
Each month you also receive a flashlight adventures activity and it always coordinates so well with the theme of the month. Plus, it is so much fun to discover the hiding objects through the given flashlight. Totally an ingenious idea!
We look for hidden objects, animals, places, etc and identify them, thereby making it a great learning opportunity! 😉
Fishing Activity Game
Each month you also receive a game that goes with the theme of the month. Of course, an ocean theme would be totally incomplete without anything “fishing” related. We loved this game and my 3 years old had so much fun catching these colorful wooden ocean creatures with the catcher. Personally, I am a huge fan wooden toys since they seem to last so much longer and just are overall better.
Please excuse our not-so-clean table. 😀
And the fact that this game develops those fine gross motor skills is a win-win!
As always you get a postcard from Max and Mia along with stickers, which we always have fun adding to our orange suitcase (that we received the very first month of subscription!)
Our luggage tags so far! 🙂
We added the stickers on our wall-map (again, this was received in the very first box and is made of high quality to last a long time!).
Verdict
Wow, this month by Little Passports Early Explorers was just amazing! Too many age-appropriate activities with tons of hands on learning opportunities made for a very entertaining few days with this box! Learning about the oceans of the world and the ocean creatures while reinforcing pre-k concepts was just fabulous! And as always, this is one subscription I recommend every month without any hesitation because learning geography has never been this much fun. 🙂
