Each section comes with its own instructions card to make it easier to follow through since there are so many activities inside. We started off with the Reading component obviously as the theme this month was all about learning about the continents and countries in the world. Such an awesome topic!

READ

The selection of the book was apt as well going perfectly with the theme of the month: The Berenstain Bears Around the World.

It was very easy to read, and although my 3 years old is not close to reading yet, but she is definitely starting to recognize letters and this will be a great beginners level book to start with!

Off we go on to the Create component.

CREATE

This had the most amount of activities as all the 7 continents were covered in this section.

North America – we recreated a Mexican Bark Painting. All the materials were included in the box!

My daughter had a ball of a time doing her favorite thing in the whole world – painting the picture! 🙂

Another activity pertaining to South America. The information sheets provide all the details regarding each continent and what is special about them along with letting us create it. So, so fun and definitely reinforces the concepts learned. 🙂 This craft inspiration comes from Brazil so we made a Brazillin Headdress that’s used during carnivals. Little Thinker Box Kids Subscription Review July 2017

A great hands-on activity that is perfect for developing those fine gross motor skills. My daughter is enjoying the little snack included in the box there after all the hardwork! ;).

Off to Europe we went with this activity right here! Creating a jeweled crown.

Little Thinker Box Kids Subscription Review July 2017

This was hours of fun for my 3 years old as let’s be honest, which toddler/preschooler does not love stickers? But the best part about this was that she got to match the colors and shapes as she stuck each glittery shape on the corresponding shape/color on the crown. I personally thought this was such an ingeniuous and fun activity. Tons of learning happening for sure!

Yep! We were very proud of all this hard work as it really did take a lot of time, but it was all 100% well spent. Of course this mama got some good amount of “quiet” time too ;).

Off to Africa!

Painting and messiness galore while making our African mask.

Another super cute and fun activity that required us to create floating penguins on an iceberg. (everything is included in your box, of course!).

Very adorable foam penguin kit – an awesome hands-on activity for a 3 years old.

EXPLORE

This component was all about exploring and learning more about the globe. The activities involved using animal stickers to identify the places/countries they belong to, a passport activity booklet and a globe ball! 🙂

I can’t emphasise enough how much fun we had doing this activity. It was all about putting the appropriate animals/creatures into the countries they are mostly found in. Super fun and educational as well.

LEARN COMPONENT

The learning component included a game board along with some tracing letters sheet and Task Guide appropriate for Head Start level, Pre-K and Kindergarten levels.

Some tracing fun! Perfect timing for this as my 3 year old has finally mastered writing out her name! 🙂

VERDICT

Overall, Little Thinker Box turned out to be an extremely impressive educational box for us! There were tons of opportunities for learning with hands-on activities. Furthermore, despite the plethora of activities, everything was neatly organized in sections to make it so much easier to follow through. The activities will also easily last you a whole month and can also be re-used many times as they are all teaching educational concepts in a fun way.  For only $29.99 a month, you wouldn’t want to miss out on this one! Also, for a limited time use coupon code Save20 to save 20% on the first box of a Little Thinker Box.  A perfect way to read, create, explore and learn all at the same time.
