What’s inside
Oh my goodness, can I just say how much I loved this month’s Glam bag. The colors are gorgeous and the quality is amazing! It feels like a buttery-soft leather material. Definitely one of my favorites in terms of the glam bag packaging. This month we also received a booklet introducing Ipsy Cash – the only beauty rewards program that literally pays you back.
Ipsy sends out quite a few variations of their bag, which I think is great, as it really keeps the surprise factor intact! These are the items I received in my glam bag.
Now onto the items.
Yadah Silky Fit Concealer BB – $5.60
I was not sure if this was just a concealer or an actual BB foundation. But I just used it as an all over foundation and it gave the most luminous finish while blurring out imperfections.
It looks a bit on the lighter side in pictures, but it was a perfect match for my face! I am very loyal to my IT Cosmetics CC+, but this one is a great travel-size and is going to stay in my makeup bag!
Seraphine Botanicals Ginger + Gold Peach & Gold Frosting Blush – $14.00 (full size)
A multi-dimensional and versatile blush with micro gold frosting to give that subtle glow. It would be flattering on any skin tone.
It is also infused with ginger and chamomile extracts along with being vegan and 99% natural. I personally loved the subtle “shimmering flush” it gives.
Make Up For Ever Excessive Lash 2.5 mL – $6.44 (deluxe size)
This volumizing mascara is meant to add volume to the lashes with an easy-glide formula and buildable coverage. As a huge fan of Make Up For Ever as a brand, I can definitely see myself enjoying this.
Formula Ten O Six Pores Be Pure Skin-Clarifying Mud Mask – (30 mL) – $3.00
A skin-clarifying mud mask that goes straight to work on clogged pores. The strawberry and rosemary in it eliminate impurities while yarrow clarifies skin for instant complexion perfection. This mud mask did not feel heavy at all and felt super creamy while applying, however, I must say I was not bowled over by the results. But I do have the tendency to prefer stronger masks since my skin can tolerate even the most abrasive of masks. ๐
Sundays No 07 Nail Polish in Beige Rose – $18.00
A gorgeous beige-rose shade that is 10-free, vegan, cruelty-free and non-toxic!
Ignore my non-manicured nails ha ๐ but I loved this shade! This is only one application by the way, and it was not streaky at all!
Another bonus tiny nails swatch for you guys! ๐ It is a must for my toddler to be present when mama is applying any nail colors on! ๐
Verdict
The August Ipsy Glam bag turned out to be one of my favorites in recent times! Along with the contents being great, I am totally in love with the glam bag itself! Love how Ipsy differentiates itself with other beauty boxes and includes a fun and exciting glam bag each month. It definitely ups the excitement quotient in my book. The overall value this month comes around $50.00 and that’s fabulous for $10 monthly cost!
