Firstly, I have to say that I loved how everything came packaged so neatly inside this reusable DoodleBugs bag. Super cute.
This month’s theme was “Let’s Go On A Safari” so all activities and crafts revolved around the safari theme. How fun! I don’t know any 3-year-old who is not obsessed with safari animals! 🙂
The information sheet lists all our crafts for the month and helps keep track of what’s in the busy bag. Very handy dandy for sure!
3D Jeep Craft Kit
Perfect for small hands – this jeep craft kit was super fun and easy for my 3-year-old to do on her own.
She loved “building” it herself. Everything is included in the little kit, so all you need to do is put the stickers on and the wheels on the jeep.
DIY Super Safari Sticker Scene
I personally loved this activity as it really allows kids to think outside the box and create scenes using their imagination.
An awesome creative activity that stimulates their imagination while being fun.
Zoo Animal Bead Necklace
This hands-on craft again was a big hit with my 3-year-old. She is all about doing everything on her own, so stringing the beads turned out to be a great activity for developing those fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Of course, it had to immediately go around her neck. 🙂 Love do-it-yourself crafts like these.
Wood Color-In Leopard Mask
We also had some coloring fun with this wood leopard mask. Great for pretend play as she is always pretending to be a tiger ha. 🙂
Yep, her leopard was all the colors I had no control over. 😉
3D Foam Safari Animals
Another foam craft kit. This was relatively difficult to hold on to so I had to assist my daughter a bit.
Nonetheless, it was a good hands-on craft activity.
Jungle Adventure Coloring and Activity Book
We can never have enough activity books in the house, as we go through pages pretty fast with all the
doodling coloring on it. 🙂
This was hours of fun with tons of learning activities as well as coloring pages.
Foamies Color-In Safari Puzzle
You get 2 color-in puzzles in a package and this is just perfect for on-the-go. I’ll be using it during restaurant trips to keep them occupied. Definitely better than handing them an iPad. 🙂
Bonus Gift – Eclipse Glasses
I loved the inclusion of these eclipse glasses since the solar eclipse was on August 21st – it was very thoughtful of Kidable Adventures to include an extra goodie that would actually come in handy that very day!
August DoodleBug Busy Bag was a big hit with my daughter! She loved that she was able to “create” so many crafts on her own. I personally loved the fun and educational factors incorporated into the themed busy bag! Also, they truly are busy bags and can easily be taken with you on a trip or vacation to keep the kids occupied in an entertaining way. We loved the quality time we got to spend while being all crafty. Can’t wait to see what fun is in store next month!
