10-15 full-size pantry and snack items. Love the packaging! And as always the box is loaded with yummy goodness. I have no idea how they fill the box up so perfectly. I tried to put back everything once and failed miserably. It just does not fit ha. So hats off to the packaging team for doing such an awesome job!
The handy dandy information sheet for the month lists all the products and their details along with the prices!
Wow, this month was jam-packed with tons of full-sized products.
On to the items now.
I have tried a couple King Arthur mixes in the past Degustaboxes and found them to be delicious. Surprisingly there is no boxed-mix taste to them and they feel like as if they have been whipped up from scratch ;). In my book, that is pretty awesome – less work but same authentic taste. Can’t wait to try out the Lemon Bars!
Post Shredded Wheat Frosted Mixed Berry – $3.49
I am a huge fan of shredded wheat cereal and this mixed berry flavor was right up my alley.
It was not overly sweet and contains no synthetic flavors. Erm, and yep that’s my 23-month-old jumping on it while mommy is trying to photograph. Ha! Perfect moment to grab the opportunity, I must say 😉
Goya Rice Pilaf – $1.99
These rice pilaf contain toasted orzo pasta (yum, I love orzo!) and onion and garlic. So they have just the right amount of flavor and will be just perfect when served with some yummy Mediterranean spiced chicken. Now I know what I am doing for dinner tonight. 🙂
Huge fan of Mutti tomato sauce here since I got to try it a couple boxes back and now I really look forward to receiving this brand. Great for pasta sauces, curry sauces, literally for everything. A great pantry item to have at all times. And I find Mutti tomato sauces/purees to be very fresh tasting compared to other forms and brands of preserved tomatoes.
Angelic Bakehouse Bread Crisps – $4.00
Oh, these 7-grain bread crisps were absolutely delicious! I never thought I’d enjoy munching on “bread’ so much. These are made with whole sprouted grains of red wheat, berries, quinoa, oats, barley, rye, amaranth, and millet.
I found them to be very filling along with being nutritious and delicious! So yum.
Lee Kum Kee Korean BBQ Stir-Fry – $3.49
We are on a stir-fry kick lately, so I am sure this one is definitely going to come in handy. This Korean BBQ Stir-fry sauce is designed to save time in the kitchen and bring home the exotic Asian flavors you’d expect in a restaurant. I do wish that it came in a glass jar of some sort, so it would be easy to save any leftover. But still, can’t wait to try it out.
Reese On The Go Fruit Quinoa Cups – $3.99
A healthy and satisfying snack that combines quinoa with sweet fruit flavors. I got the mango flavor and thought it was pretty good. Just the right amount of sweetness balanced out with the quinoa flavor.
So much better than potato chips, these coconut chips are thinly sliced and baked to crisped perfection.
Pretty addictive, but thankfully healthy! Loved the crunch in these.
Wild Planet Albacore Wild Tuna – $4.99
This Wild Planet Tuna is hand-packed and cooked just once to retain all the natural juices right in the can, so you don’t have to drain. Just mix it up in the can and add it to your favorite sandwich or salad!
SunRype Fruit to Go (2) – $0.50
These fruit strips were gobbled up by my kiddos pretty fast. Loved that it contains no artificial colors, no preservatives, and no added sugars! These are also gluten-free, nut-free, kosher & vegan. So a perfect snack on the go for everyone.
This month was one of my favorites from Degustabox! The overall value was around $35 and that’s way above the monthly cost of the box. More than that, I thought it came at just the perfect time since we had gotten back from vacation (boohoo, summer’s over!) and I actually did not have to do a grocery run right away since so many essential pantry items were included. So win-win! 🙂 Get Degustabox for some awesome full-sized pantry staples and don’t forget to apply the coupon code T91SB and get your first box for only $9.99 + FREE shipping and a bonus item!
