This month’s theme was all about winging it! The focus was on eyes and how to create that soft and natural look while completely slaying it! 😉 The information card shows us the look to expect.
On the flip side of the card, you can see all the product details along with their prices. Always appreciate when prices are included as it really adds to the value of the box, in my opinion.
Absolutely loved the sleek and chic packaging! Brownie points for this for sure!
Everything inside our box this month.
Starlooks Artist Edition Luxe Longwear Eyeliner Pen in Black – $19.00
If there is one thing that I can’t do without when it comes to eye makeup, it’s the eyeliner! And can I just say that I absolutely loved this one by Starlooks.
It was highly pigmented and easy to apply. Literally just glided through, which I loved! No streakiness at all. It is dual-sided with the other side being a heart stamp to add some fun to the looks you create. I am not that adventurous to use heart stamps, but I thought it was pretty cool!
J. Cat Wholly Addiction Pro Define Eyeliner in Clean White – $2.99
Oh boy! Was this pencil creamy or what? I love using white pencils on the waterline since it really opens up the eyes.
This one also does not budge once applied, which is awesome. You can just tell by looking at the picture below that it was a breeze to even swatch, no tugging on the skin.
Bellapierre Shimmer Powder (Eyeshadow) in Jadoo – $15.00
I find loose powders to be a bit on the messy side, however, the color payoff with this one was just amazing. Highly pigmented and will not smear, crease or fade once applied. Plus, I personally really liked this shade.
I can’t wait to do a smokey look with this! So pretty. It is also paraben-free, so that’s great.
Cailyn Deluxe Mineral Blush Powder in Dusty Rose – $26.00
A gorgeous dusty rose shade that adds just the perfect glow and color to the cheeks.
I applied this with a very light hand and yet found it to be very pigmented. Since you get the full size, this container will easily last for a year or more!
Kokie Matte Lipstick in High Tea – $6.00
Okay, at first glance, I thought this shade is going to be very dark. But check out the swatch below.
Isn’t this just the perfect nude shade ever! Like oh, my goodness, when I first saw it, I wasn’t sure if I am going to love this, but the moment I swatched it and applied on my lips – I instantly fell in love! It is super creamy and does not make my lips dry at all like some of the liquid lipsticks do! Can’t wait to check out other matte shades from this brand.
Verdict
The September Sweet Sparkle box included 5 full-sized products with a value totaling a whopping $68.99! I personally thought this was amazing compared to the monthly cost at $24.99 + free shipping! Also, unlike other beauty subscriptions, Sweet Sparkle does not just send random beauty items, instead, you get products that are thoughtfully picked for you to create a complete makeup look. To be honest, I can’t just pick a favorite this month, since I truly enjoyed all the products and will be wearing this look quite a bit. Don’t miss out on this one, ladies!
