I thought this month’s glam bag had quite a regal look – the burgundy lace actually looks really pretty!
Ipsy sends out quite a few variations of their bag, which I think is great, as it really keeps the surprise factor intact! These are the items I received in my glam bag.
Now onto the items.
This is one of the best concealers I have tried in a very long time! And trust me, this is coming from the concealer queen! From Cle De Peau to Loreal, I have tried them all. And I found the consistency and coverage of this one by Hey Honey to be phenomenal!
You can see how thick it is but it literally just blended in without highlighting any dry areas under my eyes! This has truly become my go-to concealer and I can’t wait to purchase a couple backups! Also, I love that it treats along with providing enough coverage – due to the presence of active bee propolis, so I found it to be pretty hydrating as well. A total win here!
It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Pressed (3g) – $9.67
I am a huge fan of It Cosmetics and actually own the full-size Bye Bye Pores Pressed powder. It works amazingly well on making enlarged pores disappear.
Sadly, this came broken, but since I do own the full-size, I did not feel too bad about it.
This is an ultra lightweight styling oil that is meant to be used on damp hair. It goes on dry and adds glimmering shine and softness to the hair. Also, since we know that coconut is extremely hydrating, it helps in smoothing out the frizz and helps prevent hair breakage. I loved the delicious coconutty fragrance too!
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Creamy Eye Pencil (.03 oz) – $15.00
We all know that this is an absolute cult-favorite eye pencil. And I love how creamy it is as well as literally glides on like the name suggests.
However, sadly it makes my eyes water and I can never get it to work for me! 🙁 But I know that’s not the case for everyone, so if you are looking for a solid eye pencil that does not budge, definitely check out this one!
With winter coming up soon, I am sure one can never have enough hand creams on hand (ha, pun not intended). And this is just perfect for those dry and parched hands since it provides intense hydration without leaving any residue behind. First Aid Beauty is also one of my favorite brands, so I am pretty happy with this.
Overall, I totally loved October’s Glam bag! The Hey Honey Concealer alone makes it more than worth it for me and I am so glad to have come across this brand! The overall value this month was around $54 and for $10/month, you can hardly go wrong with Ipsy.
