What’s inside?
This month’s theme was all about Thanksgiving and fall-related crafts.
The information sheet lists all our crafts for the month and helps keep track of what’s in the busy bag. Very handy dandy for sure!
Everything inside our box this month. Also, each activity is packaged individually with its own set of instructions, making it a breeze to follow through!
We started off with the most “time-consuming” and actually lots of fun activity for the kiddos. π
Mosaic Glitter Turkey Sign
As always this is super fun for them and they just love matching the sticker dots on the given picture/theme for the month.
Even my 2-year-old has started to participate and has become well-versed in color-coordination. π
Our beautiful, glittery turkey all ready to celebrate Thanksgiving with us! π
Pumpkin Ball Craft
A relatively quick craft that involved putting together the pumpkin-balls with a happy fall sign.
All ready to participate in some pretend-play! π
Thankful For Friends Sign
Another fun activity all about sticking these fun characters on our foam photo.
Great way for little ones to create their own story while practicing some fine motor skills. π
These two sure look very proud of their craft-creation π
Fall Leaves Door Sign
With this activity, we had fun recognizing the letters and applying them to the fall leaves.
DIY crafts are big with my kiddos, and anything that keeps them occupied in an educational way, I am all over it. π
Owl Thanksgiving Magnet Craft
Mr. Owl is getting assembled, ready to go on the refrigerator. π
3D Give Thanks For All Sign
Another quick and hands-on activity that required adhering the sign and the stems onto the pumpkin. We love decorating our play area with these creations.
3D Pony Bead Pumpkin
Another fun fine motor skills activity that required the kiddos to loop the beads into the pipe cleaners to create a bead pumpkin.
Magic Color Scratch Turkey Ornament
This has been saved for our upcoming airplane travels – hoping it will keep the older one busy and quiet for some time! π
Verdict
Overall, DoodleBug Busy Bags are great for keeping the kids busy on-the-go! I love that these activities revolve around a seasonal theme while being educational and fun at the same time. Can’t go wrong with this one for only $15.99 a month! One of our favorite kids’ subscriptions for sure. π
