Book of the Month: Signed Copy of Bubble Gum Brain by Julia Cook

Aptly chosen, this book by Julia Cook is all about developing a growth mindset amongst kids. It reminds us that it’s okay to make mistakes and those mistakes only help us grow into better versions of ourselves. This concept is told in a fun and creative way! While my kiddo is only 3, she thoroughly enjoyed the story and wants us to read it to her again and again!

Blink Card Game

This lightning game is for 2 players where they have to race head-to-head to be the first to play all of their cards!

For example, a card with four yellow stars could be played on any card with yellow (color) or a card with stars (shape), or on a card with four symbols (count). I grew up playing UNO and it definitely reminds me of that. However, this looks more fun and much easier for little ones to catch on. 🙂

Magic Puzzle Ball

My older one is only 3.5 but she is absolutely obsessed with all kinds of puzzles and I thought this might be a bit too advanced for her. But she soon got the hang of it and wouldn’t put it down! I’ll be honest, I am having way too much with this puzzle ball too. It has 12 holes and 11 little balls inside and the balls can be moved around using the empty hole, which allows the puzzle to be jumbled.

We have to move all of the balls back into their correct color coordinated places to solve the puzzle. So fun and perfect for testing mental skills. Our whole family is obsessed with this now! 🙂

Super Hero Cape with Iron-On Design

What a beautiful red cape perfect for little ones to put on and have all the pretend-fun. I found the quality to be top notch too, made of silk fabric.

Sadly, our “super-hero” couldn’t wait to get the design ironed-on and just wanted her cape on!
