What’s inside?
This month’s theme was all about Valentine’s Day crafting πΒ Also, each activity comes packaged individually with its own set of instructions, making it a breeze to follow through!
The information sheet lists all our crafts for the month and helps keep track of what’s in the busy bag. Very handy dandy for sure!
Valentine Glitter Mosiac Sign Craft
Always fun to start off with the most time-consuming activity, especially since my 2-year-old is obsessed with this one particularly. π
The best part about this activity is that we are gradually getting in the habit of sharing and working together which is great especially for this toddler age-group. π
The kids are always so proud of the “final look” of the mosaic sign – this is one of the staples of the DoodleBug Busy Bags and varies with the theme of the month. π
Valentine Bear Wreath Craft
This adorable wreath craft was super fun and easy to make. And my 2-year-old took it upon herself to finish it off herself. π
She insisted to put the bow on the head rather than the neck of the bear, ha. π
Conversation Heart XO Craft
Another fun and easy craft that required the kiddos to decorate the XO sign with the smaller heart signs.
Since my 3-year-old is learning to spell out words – this actually turned out to be a fun and educational activity for her! π
Love Bug Clothespin Craft
Using the picture on the instruction sheet as a guide, we made this adorable love bug by adhering the stickers and putting on the googly eyes!
Ready to fly away! π It comes with a magnet that can be attached to the back of the clothespin – which makes it an adorable refrigerator decor.
Stationery & Stickers
Yay for more stickers and stationery items! These are becoming a staple in the DoodleBug Busy bags and we’re over the moon about it.
Kids love stickers and cute stationery items, and they always come in so handy to keep them busy when out and about. π I personally loved that two-sided stamp – so, so cute!
My older one was all set to hand out hand-made Valentine’s day cards to us. π
Verdict
What an adorable, heart-themed month by DoodleBug! As always the crafts are fun and perfect for keeping the kids busy and entertained without any screen time. Upcoming themes will be about Easter and Spring respectively. Can’t go wrong with DoodleBug Busy Bags for your kids!
