What’s inside

The glam bag look this month was this blushing-pink, lace-trimmed pouch. However, I do wish the blush-pink shade was a bit more vibrant.

Ipsy sends out quite a few variations of their bag, which I think is great, as it really keeps the surprise factor intact! These are the items I received in my glam bag.

Let’s check out the products I got closely! 🙂

Naked Cosmetics Vanilla Creme Lip Scrub (6.5g) – $4.99

Seems like I have been getting way too many lip scrubs lately, however, I can’t really complain since it is still technically winter and our lips need all the hydration they need! This one by Naked Cosmetics is packed with moisturizing oils such as avocado oil and vitamin E. It is definitely one of those gentle scrubs with a delicious vanilla flavor!

Seraphine Botanicals Lychee + Gold Blush (3g) – $14.99

I am a fan of Seraphine Botanicals! I have received other shades by this brand in the past, and have been very satisfied with the color payoff in their blushes.

I found it highly pigmented and love that it will flatter pretty much every skin tone! It is also infused with Lychee & Chamomile extracts for a subtle blushed luminosity, radiance and hydration. Can’t wait to use it. 🙂

Estate Dew Me Baked Highlighter Powder (3g) – $15.00

This shimmery purple highlighter is meant to give that “out-of-the-world” glow to your face. Perfect for under your brow bones, or the inner corner of your eyes, or just above your cupid’s bow to give that defined look.

Hey Honey Come Undone Face & Eye Daily Makeup Remover (12 ml) – $9.60

I am a huge fan of the Hey Honey under eye concealer, so I am definitely intrigued to try out this makeup remover. It is 100% natural and gently removes your makeup. Starts off as a gel-like texture and transforms into a soft, milky lotion leaving a clean and hydrated skin.

Luxie 249 Blending and Shading Eye Brush – $10.00

I am not an eye makeup gal so my eye brushes really don’t get much of a use! However, that said, I do like multi-purpose products and this dual-ended brush by Luxie is perfect for getting any eye look with just one brush! It is exclusively designed for ipsy – tapered on one end, and fluffy on the other side for easy blending!

Verdict

I was not bowled over by any product this month, however, my favorites were the Seraphine Botanicals Lychee + Gold Blush and the Naked Cosmetics lip scrub. The overall value of my glam bag is around $54.60 which I am still happy about considering the variety of products received. Hoping next month is a bit more exciting! 😉
