What’s inside?
This box came packed to the brim – and I have no idea how they managed to pack it all so neatly! I was definitely very impressed with the packaging and thought it was top-notch.
Everything inside our box! As always, a whole lot of fun stuff in there. 🙂
You also get a very detailed information sheet for grownups, a personalized letter addressed to your child and a calendar printout for the current month and the next (expect to receive activities and crafts focus on all these holidays ;)).
Grownup Helper sheet lists all the products inside your box, making it easy to follow through since there are way too many to count. 😉
Correspondence for the kiddos! This month’s theme was all about Mother Earth and learning more about Earth in a fun and interactive way.
Let’s take a closer look at all these goodies and see what fun we had! Scroll all the way to the bottom of the post to enter the giveaway to win a FREE month of My Fairy Tale PLUS box 🙂
I Love Rainy Days! By Hans Willhelm
This month we also got a Scholastic book to read, so yay for that! Books are always welcomed happily in our family. 😀 This is an easy to read story featuring Noodles the little white dog!
It is a funny level 1 story that is perfect for beginning readers – my almost 4-year-old is starting to recognize different words as she sees them, so great way to gradually learn to read while enjoying a fun story! 🙂
Earth Mosaics Craft Kit + Globe Super Bounce Ball
This crafting kit was a big hit with my 2-year-old – she is learning about color coordination and has a ball of a time matching the stickers to the correct colors! We also got a bouncy globe ball going with the Earth theme of the month. 🙂
Took her a couple hours to finish it off but boy, she was so proud of it?! 😀 Proud mama moment here as well.
Sands Alive! The Sand Box & Sands Alive! Jungle Friends Mold Set
My kiddos were most excited about this set right off the bat! (play-doh and kinetic sand are definitely the favorites for my preschoolers). You also get a mold set along with the Sandbox for hours of sensory and creative play!
Yep, having way too much fun. 🙂
This is also great for developing fine motor skills and concentration as the kids learn to play with creative scenarios.
I found the mold set to be of great quality (that can stand the rough play of toddlers/preschoolers) and again provides tons of opportunities to create some funny looking jungle friends. 🙂
Faber – Castell Grow A Little Star Kit
A fun little kit that includes everything to plant and grow your own star!
Chia seeds will sprout from this planter just within 3-4 days. We just needed to add in water! 🙂
This was super fun for my older one as she got her hands dirty and did everything on her own! What a perfect way to instill a sense of love for gardening in younger kids. 🙂
Spring Garden Sticker Book
Going with the theme of the month – we also got a loaded Garden Sticker Book with all kinds of stickers one can imagine! 🙂
Hours of fun for the kids and perfect for me to just grab a single page from the booklet while we are out and about. 🙂
Playvisions Pick Up Snakes Game
Another way for little ones to practice some fine motor skills with this classic Pick Up Snakes game. The main idea behind this game is to pick up as many sticks (snakes) as you can. Just drop the snakes into a loose tangled pile and pick up a snake without moving others when your turn comes. Fun for the whole family!
5 Cards + Envelopes
As always you also get envelopes and colorful cards in your monthly box! Great way to get the kids in a habit to write or draw to someone near and dear in their lives and mail it out! In this day and age of tons of screen time, I am sure the “old-fashioned” way will be highly appreciated. 🙂
Markers + Earth Pin + Card Topics
We also got some markers to go with the cards. Along with a heart-shaped earth pin – perfect as a collectible or to be used in a sorting/counting game (once more than a few have been collected through My Fairy Tale Box).
We also got My Fairy Tale dinner conversation starters that revolve around the theme of this month’s box – again incorporates quality time for the whole family.
My Fairy Tale Weekly Postcards
We have also been receiving these personalized postcards on a weekly basis with a customized message for the kiddos by their favorite Fairy Tale character (Easter bunny, etc). With a My Fairy Tale PLUS box subscription, you will receive a My Fairy Tale Box and My Weekly Fairy Tale Postcard separately!
Verdict
Another fabulous month by My Imagination Mail! This month’s My Fairy Tale box was again a big hit with my kids – our favorites were definitely the Sands Alive! Sand Box & the Mold Set along with the I Love Rainy Days book. We got hours of creative and hands-on play done while learning about Earth! If you are looking for imaginative play options for preschoolers that will make them think outside the box, then you really can’t go wrong with this one! Also for a limited time, don’t forget to use the coupon code TMR25 to get 25% off your entire order! Expires March 25th, 2018!
