10-15 full-size pantry and snack items. Love how all the products come packaged neatly with air pouches around to keep them secure! This one is always a hefty box! 🙂
The handy dandy information sheet for the month lists all the products and their details along with the prices!
The other side lists a yummy recipe using the products inside our box! 🙂
Everything inside my April box! This month’s theme was all about road-trippin’ ;).
Let’s look at these closely. 🙂
I love Angie’s popcorns, actually one of my favorite brands that truly provides a healthier take on popcorns. We got 2 flavors this month – Cheddar Cheese & Real Butter. My kids loved the cheddar cheese flavor and with whole grain energy, each serving surely provides the conscience-soothing snacking any mama would be okay with. 😉
If you are a peanut butter fan, then you really can’t go wrong with these Nutter Puffs.
In terms of taste, this was pretty much like eating peanut butter except in a puffed snack form. Now we as a family are not really peanut butter fans, so sadly this was a miss for us. But check out how jumbo-sized these are!
Goya Plantain Chips (142g) – $1.99
One of my favorite items from this month’s box!
I love plantain chips as they are crunchy like potato chips but a little nuttier in flavor and hopefully healthier too. 😉 These are also very low on sodium and are gluten-free!
Zeigler’s Mango Citrus Carrot Fruit & Veggie Juice Blend (33.8 fl oz) – $3.99
Time to move aside, OJ! This delicious blend of fruit & veggies is about to take over and give you a power-packed dosage of your daily fruits and veggies. I personally loved the subtle mango flavor paired with the carrots and citrusy blend! And surprisingly my 4-year-old did too, who does love her OJ quite a bit. 🙂
My husband is a huge Aloe Vera fan and always loves to buy these juice drinks in bulk. This one contains real aloe vera juice and pulp, straight from the leaf! It is also blended with cranberry, mulberry, and blueberry juices to give a positive boost to body and mind. And yay for containing no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives!
A spicy take on jerky with an all mango habanero flavor! It is also gluten-free, no nitrates/nitrites, no MSG, no hormones or antibiotics.
Made with a unique blend of corn and wheat flour, these tortillas taste pretty good! They contain 14 grams of whole grain and no trans fat. Time to whip up some burritos! 🙂
La Tortilla Factory Cocina Fresca – $3.99
This slow cooker sauce is a spicy blend of smoky chipotle, Mexican herbs and a hint of lime juice. Meant to be paired with the handmade tortillas above. Since we are on a tofu kick these days, I can’t wait to use the sauce and have some delicious spicy tofu burritos! 🙂
Fini Shock Tongues, Mini Kollisions, & Fizzy Tornadoes – $1.09 each
So many candies this month – all for your road trip needs. 🙂 We got 3 different kinds: Shock Tongues – which was chewier and very tartier than the others.
Kollisions contained all kinds of different shapes with a mix of sweet and sour licorice flavors. And Fizzy Tornadoes was more like a hollow rope with a fizzy texture.
My 2-year-old loves raisins so this was right up her alley, especially since these were infused with flavors such as lemon and strawberry! What I loved about these were that they contain no added sugar and are also gluten-free!
Better than Starburst candies, these organic candy chews are soft yet chewy enough! Also so much more flavorful than other chewy candies. And yet again, yay for no artificial colors and preservatives. 🙂
Another fantastic month by Degustabox! Our favorites were Angie’s Boomchickapop, La Tortilla Factory products, Zeigler’s Fruit & Veggie blend, & Goya Plantain Chips.
