What’s inside
- 4-5 full-sized or deluxe products
Glossybox packaging is the best hands down! The boxes are beautifully designed and they’re wrapped so gorgeously as well!
The information card illustrates the theme of the month along with the items and their description and prices. Always very detailed and helpful at first glance.
This month is all about looking good and feeling good. So Glossies will enjoy exclusive access to the fitness app called Cyberobics that offers virtual classes and brings the experience of having a trainer to your home! So, essentially, this month is all about beauty from the inside out! 😀
Here is the Cyberobics booklet that is especially curated for Glossybox members! As someone who usually works out from the home, I am super interested in trying this out. 🙂
Let’s check out our products closely!
Karl Lagerfeld + Model CO Baked Blush in Rose Beige (0.1 oz) – $44.00
Time to welcome Spring with a bang! This gorgeous baked blush is like a 2-in-1 product as it serves as the perfect highlighter with a hint of pink to it. It contains micronized pigments that brighten and highlight pretty much every complexion!
I thought it turned out subtle when swatched, but then again, you do not want something too heavy as a highlighter either! And less is definitely better in this case. 😉 Say hello to natural radiance.
La Roche-Posay 10 Cleansing Towelettes – $4.00
You can never have enough makeup wipes and as a fan of the La Roche-Posay brand, I have to admit that these wipes are super gentle. These are not scratchy at all and truly do clear away makeup and impurities without stripping the natural oils. You get 10 towelettes in these, so this will be perfect in a travel bag. 🙂
The BrowGal Skinny Eyebrow Pencil (full-size) – $23.00
So, lately, I have been obsessed with my eyebrows and feel that I have been hunting for that perfect eyebrow product that will give me fuller eyebrows without spending hours on it ;).
I do prefer pencils as they are a bit on the quicker side. And I found this pencil very soft when filling in – there was no tugging of the skin, which I definitely appreciate.
However, I received shade #3, which was a tad bit too dark for my brows, but I am sure I can still make it work since we are still in the dark and big brows phase right now. 😉
Oolution Eye Love (0.5 oz) – $37.00
This eye cream contains more than 65 active organic ingredients that help in reducing dark circles and bags along with moisturizing the delicate skin under the eyes. I’d definitely hop on the bandwagon of anything that claims to reduce dark circles or bags — so I am super excited to test this out and see if it makes any difference.
I am currently using La Mer’s eye cream which I absolutely adore, but I am totally open to testing out others, so we shall see. I do like that this is 100% naturally-derived! 🙂
Rituals Foaming Shower Gel (1.8 fl oz) – $4.50
Omygoodness, this shower gel smells absolutely divine! I am not a floral scent person, but there’s something in the cherry blossom that just makes this irresistible and very uplifting! It is actually meant to cultivate feelings of peace and positivity – how awesome is that? Can’t wait to use this.
Verdict
A solid month by Glossybox! My favorites were the Karl Lagerfeld Baked Blush, Rituals Foaming Shower Gel and The BrowGal Skinny Eyebrow Pencil. The overall value this month was around $112 which is pretty amazing considering the monthly cost at only $21.00 + free shipping! With so many full-sized products each month, you really can’t go wrong with Glossybox!
Also, you can’t go wrong with a Melted Rose Limited Edition Glossybox as a Mother’s Day gift that contains $200 worth of beauty goodies sure to make the super mom’s heart melt. I am personally a huge fan of the Glossybox limited edition boxes since they are so pretty and have purchased in the past to give as gifts too! Check it out or Preorder here.
