What’s inside?
I absolutely love the turquoise packaging of the box! It gives off very classy vibes.
Everything inside our box for the month of April – welcoming Spring with bright and delicious chocolates.
Let’s dig in, shall we? 🙂
Theo Limited Edition Spring Collection Lemon 45% Milk Chocolate (85g)
So excited to see a chocolate bar from the limited edition Spring collection By Theo Chocolates. This was seriously delicious, to say the least.
Also, how cute is this packaging? Perfect to give as a gift as well. 🙂
While I have tried out my fair share of orange-flavored chocolates, I never would have thought that something like a tarty lemon would work when paired with chocolate. But this really does – it’s not as tarty and the sweetness of the chocolate pairs so incredibly well. Totally hooked on this one!
K’UL No Reserve Artisan Hazelnut & Orange Dark Chocolate (65g)
Candied orange peel and roasted hazelnuts combined with 70% dark chocolate made this one heck of a gourmet chocolatey goodness.
It is also a low-glycemic index food along with being vegan!
Loved the bits of candied orange and hazelnut (I am a huge hazelnut fan), so this was literally right up my alley. The dark chocolate flavor also really came through in this one.
Elements Truffles Peppermint Infused with Lavender Artisanal Chocolate (56g)
Ayurveda inspired and infused with Lavender to summon a whole new spectrum of flavor & feel along with containing peppermint for rejuvenating coolness. It is also a 100% dairy free chocolate and contains no artificial preservatives or flavors!
Can’t get over how pretty it looks! But I have to say the flavors were a tad bit too strong for me, maybe it was the lavender? because I do enjoy peppermint in my chocolate, so I felt that the lavender was a bit too strong. But I am sure it is an acquired taste. And at the same time, you really can’t go wrong with chocolate and ayurvedic benefits combined together! 😉
Mayana Chocolate Monkey Bar Mini (1.5 oz)
Made with banana rum caramel, vanilla bean marshmallow and 66% dark chocolate, this mini monkey bar is all about going bananas ;). Sounds very intriguing, doesn’t it? 🙂
Ticket Hot Chocolate On A Stick (1.5 oz)
Who would have thought that hot chocolate on a stick would work, but you know what, it does amazingly well!
We got the French Truffle flavor in our box and all we needed was some warm milk to dunk our chocolate stick in. Eazy, peezy!
After 2-3 minutes, it melted just perfectly and the last bits were gobbled up by my kiddos. This is seriously hot chocolate for the win! I am pretty much in love with the idea itself and the phenomenal taste. With 55% cocoa, you are getting yourself a delicious gourmet hot cuppa chocolate that is extremely hard to resist. 🙂
Verdict
What a bright and delicious month by Chococurb! Our favorites were Theo Lemon 45% Milk Chocolate, K’ul Hazelnut & Orange Dark Chocolate and of course the Ticket Hot Chocolate On A Stick. Time to enter the gourmet world of chocolate on a monthly basis – you seriously can’t go wrong here! 😉
