What’s inside
- 4-5 full-sized or deluxe products
Glossybox packaging is the best hands down! The boxes are beautifully designed and they’re wrapped so gorgeously as well! Everything inside my May Glossybox.
The information card illustrates the theme of the month along with the items and their description and prices. Always very detailed and helpful at first glance.
This month’s box comes stocked for travel season with beauty essentials that will keep you looking and feeling fly before and after take-off. 🙂
Let’s check out our products closely!
Arizona Proenza Schouler EDP (0.17 fl oz) – $10.00
The debut scent from Proenza Schouler, Arizona’s bottle was inspired by the ravines and ridges that define the horizon of the Sonoran Desert. It is actually currently exclusively available at Saks Fifth, so I was thrilled to see it in my box! While it is considered a deluxe sample size wise, I am sure it’ll still last for quite a bit since you really need to spritz the tiniest bit. I am seriously in love with how amazing this smells. It contains an innovative blend of white cactus flower and creamy orris – it can be classified as timeless yet contemporary. I don’t usually deter away from Jo Malone fragrances, but I’ll just have to now that I have come across Arizona! Oh and I loved that it lasted pretty much 8+ hours on me. 😀
John Masters Organics Evening Primrose Shampoo & John Masters Organics Conditioner (2 fl oz each) – $4.00 each
Perfect shampoo & conditioner duo for those with dry hair. It contains nurturing botanical blends along with evening primrose oil, soothing lavender and conditioning avocado oil. I tried it out and was happy to see my hair shiny and renewed. I particularly enjoyed the conditioner more than the shampoo! 🙂
Laritzy Cosmetics Shade Stix in Aloha (0.3 oz) – $24.00
Isn’t this just the perfect shade to give that sunkissed glow? I loved how creamy and easily blendable it was!
I have tried out quite a few products by Lartizy Cosmetics and haven’t been disappointed. And since I am a huge fan of cream-based formulas, I know this will be my go-to summer bronzer to give that radiant yet smooth bronze goddess look in no time. 😉
Monu Professional Skincare Soothing Touch Recovery Balm (1.7 oz) – $23.00
This gentle recovery balm by Monu skincare is meant to provide just the hydration needed after a long trip. Packed with restorative ingredients like evening primrose oil, blackcurrant seed oil, and cassia alata leaf extract, this will help with soothing irritation and reducing inflammation even on sensitive skin. I found that you literally only need a pea-sized amount to cover your entire face and neck since it was so hydrating! Another winner here, for sure. 🙂
DHC Deep Cleansing Oil (1 fl oz) – $4.28
Cleansing oils and cleansing balms are all the hype right now, and clearly, I have gotten on that bandwagon too — so I am always open to experimenting with newer ones. This Japanese Beauty cult-favorite facial cleanser contains olive oil and promises to melt away makeup including waterproof mascara! Since I have crazy dry skin, I know that I’ll enjoy using it as other cleansers always leave my skin way too dry.
Verdict
What a fabulous box for summer by Glossybox! I love how everything was chosen specifically by keeping summer-travel essentials in mind. My favorites were the Proenza Schouler Eau De Parfum, Monu Skincare Recovery Balm, & the Lartizy Cosmetics Shade Stix. The overall value this month was around $70, which is pretty amazing compared to the monthly cost at only $21 + free shipping. If you haven’t yet dabbed into beauty subscription boxes and actually want to receive full-sized products, then Glossybox is the way to go!
