We Craft Box is a monthly kids subscription that sends out 2-3 seasonal crafts for the whole family to enjoy! It is founded by Betsy Wild, a working mom of 2 boys. Art is her passion and therefore she decided to make it easier for parents by doing all the legwork and saving time by preparing, planning and shopping for all crafts!
Each box comes with all the materials needed to create 2-3 fun and entertaining crafts enabling parents to spend quality time with their kids!

- 2-3 seasonal crafts with all the materials needed.
I loved the packaging as everything came packed in a sturdy, pretty orange/green box! I also personally love the logo of the company – hand of an adult and child together illustrating instantly what We Craft Box is all about! 🙂
Everything inside our box for the month of May! This month was all about getting acquainted with Outer Space – what a fun theme. 🙂
You get enough material and options to create at least 1 big craft project and 2-3 smaller ones. Basically, it’s all about unleashing the inner creativity of the kiddos ;). Also, you get enough items for at least 2 kids to be shared easily!
The information sheet is double-sided with step by step images of the projects that will be created. And that certainly makes it very easy to follow the instructions (that are equally detailed!).
As always, the instruction sheet introduces the contents of the box via an adorable poem pertaining to the theme of the month. Certainly sets the mood for the kids to embark on a crafty adventure :).
Let’s check out how our crafts turned out with a 4 and a 2-year-old 😉
Craft Project #1: Zork & His Space Cruiser
Everything needed to make Zork & his space cruiser. I personally love how detailed the instructions are and the pictures certainly help as well, in case you are lost. 🙂
We started off by putting our plastic bowls together to form a space cruiser shape. Clearly, the kids can’t contain their excitement. 😉
Decorating their space cruiser with the provided stickers!
Next, it was all about creating our little alien with the help of silly putty! This was actually the most exciting part for my 2-year-old. 🙂
Thankfully, we did get 2 packets of silly putty in different colors, so there were no arguments. 🙂
My 4-year-old wanted to follow the instructions to the T – so naturally, her alien was more in line with what we should expect. 😉
Ready to bring out the acrylic glow in the dark paints out! I loved how focused the girls were and truly worked hard to create their space cruisers. 😉
Activity #2: Crafting Up Outer Space
Once done with the space cruisers, we jumped off on crafting up our outer space. As always, one of my favorite parts of We Craft Box is how you end up using the box (that the contents come in) for your crafts. Very green-and-eco-friendly! 🙂
Everything required to make the outer space.
We set up using the roll of paper and attaching it to the inside of our box. The kids then decorated it with the stars stickers and added more paint blots using the straw technique (as illustrated in the instructions).
Lastly, we decorated the clear balls and made them into “planets” by painting them and hanging them around the box using pipe cleaners!
The final look of our Space Cruiser + Zork + Outer Space! The kids were absolutely thrilled to see the glowing space cruiser in the dark (unable to picture it), but suffice it to say – this is definitely one of our favorite crafts by We Craft Box! And the best part is that most of it was done single-handedly by the kids themselves! 🙂
What an exciting space-themed month for kids by We Craft Box! My girls had a ball of a time creating the outer space and the space cruisers and I thought it was a great way to learn about space at the preschool level as the kids made their crafts! High-quality crafting made super easy and fun while saving time for the parents/caregivers. 🙂
