10-15 full-size pantry and snack items. Love how all the products come packaged neatly with air pouches around to keep them secure! This one is always a hefty box! 🙂
The handy dandy information sheet for the month lists all the products and their details along with the prices!
The flip side lists a recipe using the items received in our box. 🙂
Everything inside my June Box.
Let’s look at these closely. 🙂
Organic Grounded Snacks Cinnamon Sugar (5.5 oz) – $3.49
Cinnamon, Red Rice & Quinoa? Certainly, an interesting combination that I am totally ready to dive into! 😉 These Cinnamon sugar chips are surprisingly not overly sweet with just enough cinnamon flavor in each bite. I also found them to be a bit more on the dense side, thanks to the Red Rice & Quinoa – so you can definitely expect to feel fuller before finishing a bag, which is a good thing right? 🙂
Mutti Peeled Tomatoes (28 oz) – $2.99
Always love receiving these Mutti Tomatoes in my Degustabox! I am a huge fan of the brand and find the taste to be very authentic. These work out perfectly for traditional Mediterranean recipes or pasta sauces!
Goya Black Beans (5.5 oz) – $0.99
These black beans are part of Goya’s growing line of “Better For You” products as they contain 70% less sodium than the original. Since we are still on our Chipotle kick, I can find tons of uses for beans – and really, isn’t this also one of a staple pantry item? You just can’t not have it in your pantry!
Walkers Pure Butter Vanilla Shortbread – $4.49
Walkers Vanilla shortbread cookies are light, airy and have more of a crumbly texture than the original shortbread cookies! These literally melted in my mouth and are just the perfect accompaniment to your tea or coffee.
Tickle Water Watermelon Sparkling Water (240 ml) – $1.29
Naturally flavored sparkling water created with kids in mind, but actually enjoyed by all ages! This lightly carbonated sparkler is free of sugar, sweeteners, sodium, preservatives and of course, has zero calories! Thankfully, my family is not big on carbonated drinks, but I certainly wouldn’t mind trying out a healthier alternative. The packaging is also super cute. 🙂
I can’t wait to try out the super antioxidant smoothie recipe (at the back of our information sheet) using True Lemon packets. I love that these are truly unsweetened and you get a pretty authentic flavor of the fruit rather than an overly sugar-laden one.
Goya Corn Tortillas – $2.29
Definitely another pantry staple for us! Can’t go wrong with tortillas any time of the day. 🙂 We are all about quesadillas, burritos and taco chips so these will be finished in a jiffy, I am sure. 😉 These are also gluten-free and contain no lard.
That’s it. Zesty 1 Apple + 1 Mango & Chili – $1.69
Having tried this before in one of the other subscription boxes, I have been a fan of the That’s it. brand in general. I love that these bars are only 100 calories, contain no preservatives and are made with 100% real fruit! I loved this flavor and thought that the addition of chili added just the perfect amount of spicy kick you’d expect and paired so well with the mango and the apple flavors!
Can’t go wrong with all-purpose seasonings! This one will be great as a rub on meats, poultry, and fish or even over vegetables to add some flavor.
Zollipops & Full Value Coupon ($3.99 for 3 oz package)
Always happy to see one of our favorite brands reappear again! 🙂 Zollipops are sugar-free, non-GMO, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan and kosher and of course mom-approved. 😉 These are great for after a meal for a cleaner and healthier smile, however, I just use these more as rewards for my 2 toddlers. 😉 We also received a Buy One, Get One Free coupon, so that’s great! 🙂
Trust Degustabox to come to the rescue with some staple pantry items + extra goodies! The overall value this month was around $34 and it is always consistently well-above the monthly cost!
