We Craft Box is a monthly kids subscription that sends out 2-3 seasonal crafts for the whole family to enjoy! It is founded by Betsy Wild, a working mom of 2 boys. Art is her passion and therefore she decided to make it easier for parents by doing all the legwork and saving time by preparing, planning and shopping for all crafts!
Each box comes with all the materials needed to create 2-3 fun and entertaining crafts enabling parents to spend quality time with their kids!

What’s inside?
- 2-3 seasonal crafts with all the materials needed.
I personally love the packaging and logo of the We Craft Box – the hand of an adult and child together illustrating instantly what We Craft Box is all about! π
Everything inside our box for the month of July! This month’s crafting focused on creating colorful fishes and your own underwater world.
You get enough material and options to create at least 1 big craft project and 2-3 smaller ones. Basically, it’s all about unleashing the inner creativity of the kiddos ;). Also, you get enough items for at least 2 kids to be shared easily! π
As always, the instruction sheet introduces the contents of the box via an adorable poem or story pertaining to the theme of the month. Certainly sets the mood for the kids to embark on a crafty adventure :).
The information sheet is double-sided with step by step images of the projects that will be created. And that certainly makes it very easy to follow the instructions (that are equally detailed!).
Let’s check out how our crafts turned out with a 4 and a 2-year-old π
Craft Project #1: The Sparkle Fish
We started off our first project by creating our sparkly fishies!
Using the markers to decorate the fish cut outs.
The younger one was more interested in going crazy with the glue stick – as expected. π We used the glue and folded sides together with a string attached in between.
Next, the fishies were ready to be bathed in sparkle! Using the coffee filter as a “mat”, we applied the glue onto the fish and quickly pressed into the sequins.
There you go! Our beautiful sparkly fishes were ready to go into the aquarium/ocean.
Craft Project #2: Treasure Chest
How adorable are the treasure chest boxes? Using the same method as above, we covered the boxes in sequins and sparkles!
Waiting to go underwater. π
Craft Project #3: Create Your Underwater World
Time to create our underwater world. We started off by creating the fish tank watercolor background.
Using the 2 included pipettes, the girls added a few drops of water onto the magic paper (that they had drawn lines on with the markers) until the colors started to run. We set it to dry and hopped onto the next step.
Part 2 of this project was to decorate the “glass walls”. The older kids will have a ball of a time drawing out on the plastic sheet, but since my girls are on the younger end, I roughly decorated the plastic with water lines and seaweed etc. π This is going to go around our tank to give a very real-life aquarium or glass wall effect.
Time to assemble the tank. We added in the tissue paper in the bottom of the box to look like a sandy bottom and placed the treasure boxes along with seaweed clusters made with coffee filters! Also scattered the gold coins for the oomph factor. π
Lastly, we added the “glass wall” around the box and hung the sparkly fishes created earlier to finish off the look. Again, you receive pretty much everything required to complete each craft in the box, which is pretty amazing! I also especially love how all the smaller projects come together to form a bigger one at the end using the We Craft Box. So eco-friendly and beautiful to display anywhere in the house!
Verdict
Crafting keeps getting better with We Craft Boxes! What a fun way to spend time with the kids while creating beautiful projects to show off. While last month’s project was a BIG hit for my girls, we loved this month’s craft equally and love to see what We Craft Box comes up with each month! The quality of materials is always top-notch and our beautiful creations seem to last for a long time as they sit on the display in our playroom!
