The month of July was all about creating a picnic paradise! 🙂
The information card lists the link to the video detailing the project for the month – if you are a new crafter, the video is sure to make life easier! It also lists all the items included in your kit for the month, so you know exactly how many cards or boxes you can make right away. 🙂
Along with that, you also get a step-by-step instruction sheet. Super helpful and I always appreciate when instructions are crystal-clear. 🙂
Let’s check out how my picnic-themed cards turned out! 😉
Everything required to make the basket!
Started off by connecting the long-brimmed stickers with the basket handle. I loved how easy this was thanks to the adhesive side, making it a breeze to create the “basket”.
Once done, it was time to line the basket with the pretty plaid paper. So in love with the color options so you can really customize based on whatever color scheme you are going for!
I opted for the green and lined my basket! Now it’s ready to be shared with whatever “tiny” goodies you want to fill it with. 🙂
Creating Picnic Themed Cards
Everything required to make the cards.
Time to get started with stamping the sentiments.
Next, I attached the plaid vellum with adhesive dots to add some more dimension to the card. And then wrapped the twine around the front of the card to give it a pretty look.
I chose strawberry cut-outs for my first set of cards and finished off by adhering on top of the vellum and the twine. Excuse my sub-par stamping skills, this is what happens when you have a toddler about to start a tantrum nearby. 😉
Another variation! How pretty does the inner side of the envelopes look? I feel like Paper Pumpkin has mastered the art of attention to details when it comes to crafting!
Our fruit-themed cards are ready to go into the basket created earlier. 🙂 I am sure this will brighten up anyone’s day!
