Everything inside the September Allure Beauty box! Absolutely love when I receive Faux lashes in beauty subscriptions as I am a total lash addict. Erm and hello to Drunk Elephant! Pretty much my most favorite brand out there after Sunday Riley in terms of skincare. ๐
Drunk Elephant T.L.C Sukari Babyfacial (15ml) – $24.00
I have been using Lala Retro Whipped Cream by Drunk Elephant for the past couple of months now and it has done wonders for my very dry skin! So I was naturally very excited to see the cult-favorite Babyfacial!
Sukari Babyfacial is a pro-quality “facial” that resurfaces to reveal improved skin texture and tone and a more youthful glow, thanks to the addition of AHA/BHA. It contains a whopping 25% AHA and 2% BHA blend along with glycolic, tartaric, lactic and salicylic acids. I have only used this a couple times so far and have been left with baby soft skin – however, I have not noticed any other benefits yet. But I know with skincare, you gotta give it at least 3-5 weeks to notice any difference, and I am hoping this deluxe size lasts me that long. ๐ Either way, I am super excited to keep on using it and see what wonders it does to my skin. ๐
Tartiest PRO Cruelty-free Lashes – $12.00
Time to up your lash game with these vegan, latex-free falsies that are full, fluttery, and bold, yet feel comfortable on the eyes without feeling heavy.
They look pretty glam right out of the box and I love that Allure Beauty box decided to add in the Tarte Lash Adhesive in the box to go with the falsies! Now I have got pretty much everything to get dolled up on a whim. ๐
Tarte Tartiest PRO Lash Adhesive (full-size) – $9.00
Like all of Tarte’s products, the glue is cruelty-free and made without parabens, phthalates, and mineral oil. I love that it comes with a slim brush which makes it super easy to swipe it along the base of the falsies to get that just perfect amount. So much better than a squeezy tube, right?! The formula is also very thin which makes it more of a mess-free application and it does keep the lashes on all day once locked in!
MAC Retro Matte Lipstick in Ruby Woo (full-size) – $18.50
Ah! Finally got my hands on another cult-favorite Ruby Woo by MAC cosmetics! Being a total beauty addict, I should have had this in my collection, but then I had always been a fan of more muted and nude shades of lipsticks. However, that is changing now so this could not have come at a more appropriate time! I am definitely getting more into reds and browns and this matte cherry shade does not disappoint!
The opaque color has blue undertones that will flatter pretty much every skin tone. I do love my mattes, but I did find this to be a little bit on the drying end, so just make sure to have well-moisturized lips before you put this baby on. ๐
Living Proof Full Dry Volume Blast (3.0 oz) – $11.59
This spray has won the Breakthrough Award in 2016 for its innovative formula – inspired by insulating foam. It contains hollow balls made of polymers puffed up to become bigger and lighter than standard volumizing ingredients. And I believe that’s the reason why I totally fell in love with this spray as it did not make my hair crunchy while adding tons of volume. Oh, and it smells so, so good! Loved it.
Verdict
What a fabulous month of goodies by Allure Beauty Box! Having seen the spoilers earlier, I was definitely very intrigued to try out all this. If you are a beauty addict and want to try out your favorite brands and cult favorites at a great value, then don’t miss out on this one! The September box is sold out though, but don’t forget to try the October box. Spoilers for the October box are:ย
