Kid Wonder is a monthly subscription that is all about encouraging children to learn through play. It is founded by 2 moms who understand the alluring power of screen time. Each month expect to receive 4 to 5 high-quality activities that lead to magical imaginative play centered around a particular theme. The Little Dreamers’ Box is perfect for kids ages 3-6 and they are soon launching 2 more subscription options: Big Adventures Box (Ages 5-8); and Junior Explorers Box (Ages 7-10).

What’s inside?
- 4-5 hands-on activities
Okay firstly how bright and cheery is the box itself? The box also always demonstrates the theme of the month, so expect to see a different box each month, which I think is so exciting! The colorful packaging instantly illustrates that it is all about themed imaginative play.
Everything inside our October box!
Each of the 5 individual themes as they pertain to the Main theme of the month come individually bagged. And within each numbered bag are at least 2-4 crafts. So realistically, you are getting at least 15 crafts and fun activities in the box, which is more than enough to last the whole month or more! Pretty awesome, I’d say. 😉
You also receive a very detailed and colorful information booklet with more activities inside.
All 5 instruction cards with the level of difficulty, messiness and time involved listed on each of them.
The flip side shows step-by-step instructions. So they certainly make it a breeze to follow through. 🙂
Starting off with the little magazine/booklet always included in our box that gives a beautifully explained introduction to the theme of the month! My 4-year-old had so much fun working through all the activities pertaining to being an animal doctor.
And I personally felt these were right on point as far as ages 4-6 year old are concerned.
Next month’s sneak peek is there too! Next month is going to be all about travelling the world!
Let’s check out how much fun the kids had being a Vet! Each activity/craft is numbered so it always makes sense to just follow the sequence. 🙂 The first activity is always about dress-up fun as it pertains to the theme of the month and I love how everything comes so organized.
01| Dress Like A Vet
Everything inside activity bag #1.
Got right into the Vet mode – one of her favorite themes actually since she is obsessed with Doc McStuffins currently. 🙂
Performing a surgery, well more like a matching body parts activity on the teddy bear. So fun and educational! 🙂
02 | Pet Clinic!
Time to make your very own pet clinic with all the goodies provided in this bag.
Even the 3-year-old joined in on the fun and painted the wooden-shaped animals her heart out. 🙂
Mixing in 2 different colors to create her own shade and yep not getting out of character! 🙂
While the kiddos were busy painting, I decided to form the Vet briefcase – love how it already comes attached with velcros, so all you have to do is just fold the sides and attach the velcros together to form the box.
03| Time For Your Check Up!
Time to get more technical and actually perform a check up on this little puppy right there! 🙂
How adorable are these medicine bottles and cases – the pom poms act as pills which my girls loved! And immediately filled the briefcase (made in the activity earlier) with all the doctor goodies!
Literally performing a surgery on the puppy! 🙂 I loved how engrossed they were in this activity as it kept them happily busy for hours while pretending to be vet docs!
04| Construct Your X-Ray Machine!
The fourth activity bag was all about creating your very own x-ray machine.
However my girls were way too busy in fixing puppies and all their other stuffed toys that we kept this activity aside for later! 🙂 But I always appreciate how keenly detailed Kid Wonder Boxes are – the theme does not just focus on one aspect but looks at multiple aspects in a very age-appropriate manner while including educational activities at the same time.
Verdict
One of our favorite themes by Kid Wonder Box! My girls have been non-stop playing with their Vet goodies by Kid Wonder for the past few days and I don’t see them getting bored anytime soon. They also learned about being a Vet and now my 3-year-old is ready to become a Vet when she grows up! If you are looking for highly entertaining, detailed and educational activities for your kids, then definitely check out Kid Wonder Box!
