Everything inside our box. November’s focus was all about giving Thanks and all the activities and the book reinforced ideas about gratitude and being thankful!
Give Thanks Information Booklet! 🙂 I am a huge fan of these extremely detailed instruction booklets that are exclusively designed by the Kids Night In team! Kudos to them for creating such colorful & creative informational booklets!
The first page lists some fun recipes pertaining to the theme of the month that you could try out with the kids. These are optional but good to have on hand if you’re following the theme for the month. 🙂
This month’s book was one of our personal favorites, Thanks from The Very Hungry Caterpiller by Eric Carle! That too, a board book, with a 3-year-old at home, I still prefer board books, just makes life so much easier. 😉
This was such a fun book with a great message on each page! We practically read this to bed every night as giving thanks is so important!
Some more activities in the month of November!
Show thanks to trees, skys and the oceans by watching seeds grow! 🙂
Another super fun activity utilizing the Thankful concept in a kid-appropriate way. Always appreciate the very thoughtful instruction booklet that’s filled with activities that actually reinforce important concepts. 🙂
Time to paint and color our leaf just like the one on the cover of the book! So cute.
We also created gratitude bags filled with pretzels decorated with drizzled chocolate! This was a great hands-on activity that the kiddos thoroughly enjoyed and were pretty excited to hand out the bags to neighbors and friends! 🙂
You can’t go wrong with a Kids Night In subscription! There’s so much that comes jam-packed in the box that it truly is a gift that keeps on giving! If you haven’t yet, give Night In Boxes a try and have a ball spending quality time with family!
