What’s Inside?
Everything you need to decorate cookies and make 2 candy crafts (15 to 20 finished items each month). Because the items in the box are perishable, you have to make sure to use up before a certain date that your box lists.
I also have to admit that I love the name Gramma In A Box – it instantly conjures up memories of me as a kid baking treats with my grandma!
Everything inside our Valentine’s Day themed month. Always a fan of the colorful pipings bags!
I personally love how detailed the instructions always are!
The flip side lists all the ingredients – so you are well aware of what’s being consumed in case of allergies etc.
Let’s get started with some real fun now, shall we? π
Project #1: Valentine Candy Cane Hearts
A super fun project that involves melting chocolate, candy canes and sprinkles!
We just melted the chocolate and formed a heart shape with the candy canes, gently placed a popsicle stick in the middle and secured it all with melted chocolate inside. Added in the sprinkles of our choice and voila, Valentine popsicles were ready within 10 minutes! π
Second Project: Crispy Valentine Bites
Ready to prepare some more delicious treats using crispy rice cereal, melted chocolate from project 1 and Valentine cups.
I mixed in everything in a microwave safe bowl and the kiddos had a blast pouring the contents into the paper cups and then topped it all with heart-shaped candies and more sprinkles! So fun π
Third Project: Valentine Cookies
Probably one of our favorites from Gramma In A Box since it really allows the kids to get creative with their own piping bags! I personally love how the frosting always comes piped and ready to go! π
Just getting the fun started. π
Adding in sprinkles onto the delicious sugar cookies!
And voila, the final look of all our projects. π You betcha this did not last too long in the house ;).
