Summer Patio Makeover!

This summer is definitely going to be the one for the books! And since we do plan to stay indoors a bit more than usual, I figured it was the perfect time to do a little patio makeover! Now we have a smaller patio than usual which is why I had been specifically looking for something that would fit in my smaller space yet look chic and bohemian at the same time [which is the look I was going for]!  And I pretty much found everything that I needed at Bed Bath & Beyond, which is why I am so ecstatic to share with you all how it turned out.

Now you have to understand that this area was pretty bare when we started.

But since I already have the paver stone on my patio – I knew that I needed an outdoor rug which would go over it nicely! Scroll below to see more pictures!

I absolutely fell in love with Safavieh Aldric 4-Piece Patio set and love how it instantly adds a luxurious look to the patio. I am specifically very fond of the white rattan accents and the natural-finish of the legs that complement the white cushions so well!

And to bring a more cozy feel, I added the teal throw pillows and the throw blanket for a bright pop of color that goes so well with the outdoor rug.

I also added in a few bamboo lanterns to give my backyard a more tropical look! And an artificial Schefflera plant which I personally think looks almost real! So if you are like me, and do not have a green thumb, then I highly recommend you to check this one out! 😉 However, as I start to dab into planting, I am hoping to fill up this space with fresh blooms. 🙂

And is patio decor even complete without a BBQ grill? We also picked up the Char-Broil Performance Propane Gas Grill from Bed Bath & Beyond and let’s just say that someone has been a little too excited to bring his A game to grilling! 🙂

Starting on a completely bare canvas – I love how the patio decor turned out so beautifully and much better than I envisioned. We love hanging around here as a family, and just soaking in the sun while making fun memories.
