I firmly believe that variety is the spice of life! But imagine having a picky family who prefers the same kind of meals over and over! So I had to get creative and gradually introduce a variety of meals during each meal time to get them used to appreciating “variety”. However, we love to incorporate plant-based or vegetarian options at least two to three times a week — this lets me introduce fun flavors to my picky kiddos’ while solely focusing on veggies! And it has worked like a charm! So much so that my little ones actually wait for their “meatless” meal days which I’d call a total win. 🙂

However, as a busy working mama, it’s not always easy to whip up meals when you are running against time and there are hungry little people waiting for dinner, breakfast or lunch or that snack 24/7! Thankfully, I have been able to find pretty much all that I need for my picky family at Walmart!
 Meatless Mondays made easy!
Walmart carries a huge assortment of products that fit all kinds of lifestyles at an amazing value! A few of our favorites that I recently picked up were the following: Amy’s Cheese Veggie Crust Pizza and Amy’s Mac & 3 Cheese with Cauliflower – these are both a favorite of my kids, especially the Mac & Cheese. The cauliflower is blanketed in a delicious cheese sauce that the kids can’t get enough of! 😉

My husband and I love Marie Callender’s Plant-Based Chick’n Pot Pie made with Gardein Plant-Based Chick’n, it’s the comfort food your heart desires but with all that plant-based goodness! Yum!
vegan options at Walmart!
And one of our go-to breakfast items lately have been Good Food Made Simple® French Toast! It’s been perfect for those busy school mornings and fill everyone up with wholesome ingredients and satisfying flavors!

My husband is lactose-intolerant, however as someone with a huge sweet tooth, he loves his dessert — and I am so glad to have discovered So Delicious® Dairy Free Frozen Dessert Bars – these are made with plant-based milk and packed with all that creamy goodness. Trust me, you’d want to try this, even if you are not a vegan. 🙂

For me it has been a no-brainer to always be able to shop at Walmart due to the amount of variety available so easily! I also love that I don’t have to compromise on my budget along with flavors and quality! So it has been a win-win in a lot of ways, and thankfully our meatless Mondays or Wednesdays or whatever day we’d like to call it are here to stay! 🙂
